As a child Kaede was boisterous, surpassing levels of rambunctiousness even her older brothers never achieved. Short hair, short pants, t-shirt, and of course the ever notorious bug-catching net. Ribbons and bows were cast aside quickly along with their accompanying dress whenever they were forced upon her, and she had no problem wrestling with the boys on the kindergarten playground. It's not that she disliked they way they looked, they were simply impractical in doing what she wanted to do.
Such an attitude still continues to manifest itself in Kaede's demeanor, and although she pays a bit more mind to her looks, her style is always something that is easy to move in and takes little time to coordinate. She is currently in her first year of the Master's program in Sociology, and enjoys all aspects of the science greatly - Especially as a Japan-born Australia resident, she finds the contrast between the cultures fascinating. Her humanitarianism has its fluctuations but is on average quite high compared to most others - though no doubt influenced by psychosocial variables, she's the kind of girl who has no problem exploring the 'minorities' and 'weird people/customs' that can be found all around her. Though she's not sure how yet, her dream is to establish her own cafe business and to create a comfortable, friendly work environment. Perhaps because of this, her interests include business, music, food, and of course social interactions.
